Design for Manufacturability (DFM) Review
Working closely with our customers and our product design and development teams, we build understanding of your product’s functionality, materials, mechanical behavior, thermal behavior, chemical resistance, cosmetic implications and tolerance levels. We are focused on identifying and overcoming any potential challenges in your part design, material selection or manufacturing process early – helping you to move quickly through the development, validation and launch process.
Report of Findings
At the end of the process, we deliver a proprietary DFM/ESI report that includes results from filling and cooling simulation in MoldFlow, FEA and Molded-Part Validation. These detailed reports highlight identified potential product- and process-related challenges, and thus ensure that a robust and fully functional design specification is completed before work begins on production tooling.
